Job summary

Kelly Science and Clinical in Spring House, PA seeks a Biobank Scientist to support tissue and sample handling for multiple study types. The role is on-site, day shift, 40 hours per week, with benefits and PTO. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and familiarity with quality systems and GLP.

Responsibilities include receiving samples, maintaining rigorous documentation, coordinating with multiple groups, and performing routine QC and inventory tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience with Quality System processes and knowledge of Quality & Compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Biobank specimen repository system.
• Receive shipments for clinical, pre-clinical and commercial study samples.
• Maintain documentation for receipt and distribution of specimens.
• Communicate sample identity and integrity queries to the group.
• Liaise with Biobank and other departments for sample transfers to shipping facilities and labs at Spring House site.
• Assist in freezer maintenance and defrosting when required.
• Perform sample inventory, pull requests, and barcode transfers in the regulatory system.
• Support lab scientists with troubleshooting repository system concerns.
• Demonstrate organization, attention to detail, and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
• Understand GLP and related regulatory guidelines.
