Job summary

Genentech in South San Francisco, CA, invites applications for a 6-month, full-time Technical Development Intern in Bioassay. You will work in the Bioassay group, assisting with designing, executing, and analyzing assays across clinical to launch-stage biologics products.

You will present data, collaborate with scientists and cross-functional teams, and contribute to process development and GMP quality control efforts in a dynamic biotech environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or attained degree in biology, biochemistry, or related fields.
• Detail-oriented, enthusiastic, self-directed with scientific curiosity.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, optimize and analyze biochemical/immunochemical and cell-based assays.
• Summarize and present data; participate in group meetings and project teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cell-based potency methods.
• Gain broad exposure to development across production scales in biotech.
