Job summary

Genentech in South San Francisco, CA, is seeking a 2027 Spring Intern for Analytical Method Validation and Tech Transfer. This on-site internship lasts six months, full-time, with an hourly wage between $28.00 and $52.00 and a location-based stipend.

You will support data trending for method control lots, organize technical reports, perform analytical lab work (HPLC, IEC, CE-SDS), and help map usage data to centralized databases to support regulatory filings and lifecycle method implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience with AI tools for data organization and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Support data trending and statistical evaluation for new method control lots.
• Organize and mine technical reports and manufacturing records.
• Perform analytical lab work (HPLC, IEC, CE-SDS) for comparability assessments.
• Map usage data across departments to centralize databases.
• Assist design space characterization and data sourcing for regulatory filings.
