Job summary

QPS, LLC in Newark, Delaware is seeking a meticulous Sample Coordination (Sample Receipt) Specialist to join its Bioanalytical Support team. You will ensure that client samples and other controlled materials are received, tracked, stored, and returned safely with high attention to detail and accuracy.

This role requires comfort with computer systems and databases, including Excel and LIMS, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative yet independent work environment at a 100%

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in related science discipline; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• High School Diploma with at least 3 years relevant work experience may be considered.
• Experience in regulated industries preferred.
• Comfort with computer systems and databases (Excel, LIMS).

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, store, track, and return client samples and controlled materials.
• Reconcile shipped samples with paper manifests and electronic database.
• Run LIMS to track samples through their life cycle; import data from documents.
• Review documentation to ensure FDA, GLP, and SOP compliance.
• Communicate issues to Principal Investigator and external clients.
