Job summary

Sheridan in Minnesota is hiring a Manufacturing Operator for the Case In Bindery. You’ll be trained to run high-speed bindery equipment, set up machines, and help encase books in hard cases. This is a hands-on role designed for someone who enjoys tangible work and quality results.

No bindery experience is required—we’ll train you. You’ll work on the 2nd or 3rd shift, Monday through Friday, with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable with basic tools.
• Able to read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.).
• Pride in quality work and reliability.
• Reliable team player.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment that encases books in hard cases.
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.
