Job summary

Sheridan is seeking a Manufacturing Operator for the Case In Bindery to learn on high-speed equipment. Choose between 2nd shift (2:30 PM–11:00 PM) or 3rd shift (10:30 PM–7:00 AM), Monday–Friday, with overtime opportunities. No bindery experience is required; we’ll train you.

You’ll operate and set up bindery machines, monitor quality, and work with a team to achieve daily production goals. A safe, organized workspace and hands-on career growth are part of the offer.

Qualifications

• No bindery experience? We’ll train you.
• 18 years of age or older
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic tools
• Ability to read job instructions and basic measurements (decimals, sizes)

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment that encases books in hard cases.
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
