Job summary

Sheridan is hiring a Manufacturing Associate for finishing/bindery on a daytime 7a–7p shift. You’ll train on high-speed bindery equipment and participate in hands-on work to produce books and printed materials.

You’ll join a team-focused, safety-conscious environment with overtime opportunities and comprehensive benefits after 30 days, building a long-term career in print manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Basic math skills and ability to use measuring device
• Mechanical aptitude and reliability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong teamwork and safety awareness

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into machine and prepare for finishing.
• Pack books into cartons for shipping or storage.
• Safely move materials/books to and from workstation.
• Perform hand operations as required during finishing.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and keep workspace clean and organized.
