Job summary

RRD is seeking experienced Bindery Operators for our Macedonia Commercial Print facility on the 1st shift (6am-2pm, M-F) and the 2nd Shift (11am-9pm, M-Th). 2nd shift includes paid shift differential.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating bindery equipment, inspecting for safety, directing the production crew, and monitoring quality and productivity. Training will be provided for new and existing staff.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience operating Bindery equipment.
• Familiarity with paper weights, sizes, kinds and colors for paper condition checks.
• Ability to adjust and maintain bindery machines and related devices.
• Read and interpret machine operations and maintain dimensional accuracy.
• Knowledge of bindery procedures for folders, cutters, collators, stitchers, drills, or binding/gluing machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate a variety of bindery machines and attachments.
• Inspect equipment for safety and perform adjustments as needed.
• Direct crew through all production stages.
• Monitor quality, output and productivity.
• Train and support new and existing team members.
