Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, basic math and measuring skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior printing or production experience is preferred, with familiarity of paper types an asset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use measuring instruments and perform basic math.
• Prior printing/production experience preferred.
• Knowledge of paper types (carbonless vs bond) helpful.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to read and write and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate bindery equipment and perform secondary operations.
• Quality control check for alignment, color, registration, MICR numbers, perforations, and overall print quality.
• Read and understand work orders and set up jobs as specified.
• Input information in computer to relieve stock and complete operations.
• Perform minor maintenance and housekeeping to keep equipment and work area orderly and clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
