Job summary

Sheridan - The Sheridan Group in Minnesota is hiring a Manufacturing Operator for Bindery and Ancillary Machines. You’ll be trained to run high‑speed paper sheeting equipment, perform setup and maintenance, and work as part of a team to meet daily production goals.

No bindery experience? No problem—on‑the‑job training is provided. Candidates should be at least 18, have a HS diploma or GED, be mechanically inclined, read instructions, and commit to safety and quality in a factory environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools.
• Able to read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.).
• HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up, run and maintain small bindery equipment, including sewers, drills, shrink wrap, board cutter, box maker and mechanical binding.
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.
