Job summary

The Sheridan Group in Minnesota is seeking a hands-on Bindery Operator to run high-speed bindery equipment and contribute to quality finished products. You will learn on cutters, folders, stitchers and perfect binders, and join a safety‑minded team.

This 1st shift role runs Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with potential overtime. Training provided; emphasis on reliability and teamwork in a factory setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or in progress.
• Must be mechanically inclined and able to use basic tools.
• Able to read simple instructions and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders).
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
