Job summary

Data-Mail is seeking a Machine Set-Up Operator in Windsor, CT for 12-hour shifts (6 am–6 pm and 6 pm–6 am). Responsibilities include setup, mechanical troubleshooting, and operation of bindery and inserting machines. Training to become a backup mechanic is provided.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of bindery equipment setup and operation.
• Ability to apply written instructions to machine operation and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup on own machine in a timely manner and maintain area.
• Operate and troubleshoot own machine to ensure quality and dimensions.
• Complete setups for bindery and inserting tasks and load mail pieces correctly.
• Keep work area neat and coordinate with other operators as needed.
