Job summary

Tension Envelope Corporation in King of Prussia, PA is seeking a Bindery Machine Operator to join the Production team. You will operate folder and cutter equipment, ensure quality standards, and support production schedules under the supervision of the Production Manager.

Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required. Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED and at least 3 years of bindery experience, with strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.

• Mechanical skills to set up and operate MBO folding equipment.
• Basic math skills including ability to read a ruler.

BINDERY MACHINE OPERATOR

SUMMARY

Bindery Machine Operator is responsible for operating folder/cutter equipment, maintaining quality standards, trouble-shooting equipment issues, and upholding production requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties may be assigned.

• Ability to work well with co-workers in team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Examine job tickets to determine job specific instructions.
• Perform job set ups on MBO folding equipment; roll unwinder or sheet fed
• Ability to setup/operate counter, glue systems and job specific folds.
• Possess mechanical and trouble shooting skills.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Straight Knife Cutter operator
• Overtime may be required.
• Must be physically capable of working long hours, standing, and/or walking.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Mechanical skills to set up and operator MBO Folding Equipment (Roll to fold)
• Basic Math Skills, including ability to read a ruler.
• High School Diploma or GED plus 3+ years of bindery experience.
