Job summary

Tension Envelope Corporation is seeking a Bindery Machine Operator to join our Production team in King of Prussia, PA. You will operate folder/cutter equipment, inspect tickets, perform setups, and maintain quality standards on a fast-paced line.

We value mechanical aptitude, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with opportunities to grow within a robust mail/packaging manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills to set up and operate folding equipment.
• Basic math skills including ruler reading.
• High School Diploma or GED plus 3+ years of bindery experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate folder/cutter equipment and maintain quality standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and uphold production requirements.
• Examine job tickets for specific instructions and perform job set ups.
• Set up/operate counter, glue systems and folds as required.
• Maintain and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Manual lifting up to 50 lbs and ability to work long hours.

BINDERY MACHINE OPERATOR

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary

Bindery Machine Operator is responsible for operating folder/cutter equipment, maintaining quality standards, trouble-shooting equipment issues, and upholding production requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other Duties May Be Assigned.

• Ability to work well with co-workers in team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Examine job tickets to determine job specific instructions.
• Perform job set ups on MBO folding equipment; roll unwinder or sheet fed
• Ability to setup/operate counter, glue systems and job specific folds.
• Possess mechanical and trouble shooting skills.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Straight Knife Cutter operator
• Overtime may be required.
• Must be physically capable of working long hours, standing, and/or walking.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications / Education/Experience

• Mechanical skills to set up and operator MBO Folding Equipment (Roll to fold)
• Basic Math Skills, including ability to read a ruler.
• High School Diploma or GED plus 3+ years of bindery experience.
