Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Willard, OH is seeking a Bindery - Forklift Operator 2. You will train to operate a forklift in the bindery, move in-process and finished products, and maintain accurate inventory throughout shifts.

The role requires willingness to work 3 rotating shifts and occasional weekend overtime, with physical lifting as part of daily duties. Starting rate is $19.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided; forklift knowledge helpful.
• Willing to work daily and weekend overtime in a 3-shift operation.
• Ability to exert physical effort as required (lifting 20–50 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs continuously).

Responsibilities

• Train to operate a Forklift in the bindery department.
• Push / Pull, lift stack or move in process products and finished products.
• Maintain accurate inventory and report discrepancies.
• May load or unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids or lifting device.
• Perform safety checks on forklift.
• Responsible for inventory control, tracking and reporting inventory utilizing a materials management system.

Starting Rate: $19.75

Work Hours: 7AM-3PM; 3PM-11PM; 11PM-7AM (Rotating shifts) Weekends as needed

• Train to operate a Forklift in the bindery department
• Push / Pull, lift stack or move in process products and finished products
• Maintain accurate inventory and report any discrepancies
• May load or unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids or lifting device.
• Perform safety checks on forklift
• Responsible for inventory control, tracking and reporting inventory utilizing a materials management system.

Qualifications

• You w ill be trained - knowledge of bindery layout helpful
• Demonstrated willingness to work required daily & weekend overtime as needed in a 3-shift operation
• Job requires ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
