Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Willard, OH is hiring a Bindery - Forklift Operator 2 who will train to operate a forklift in the bindery, move materials, and maintain accurate inventory. This role requires lifting and moving products, performing safety checks, and reporting discrepancies.

The position offers rotating 7AM-3PM; 3PM-11PM; 11PM-7AM shifts, weekends as needed, and benefits including PTO and 401k. Starting wage is $19.75 per hour with eligibility for medical, dental, and vision coverage and

• Training provided on forklift operation and bindery layout.
• Willingness to work daily and weekends in a 3-shift operation.
• Ability to exert 20–50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds constantly.

Responsibilities

• Train to operate a forklift in the bindery department.
• Push/pull, lift, and move in-process and finished products.
• Maintain accurate inventory and report discrepancies.
• Load or unload materials onto/off pallets or lifting devices as needed.
• Perform forklift safety checks and inventory reporting in the system.

Starting Rate: $19.75

Work Hours: 7AM-3PM; 3PM-11PM; 11PM-7AM (Rotating shifts) Weekends as needed
Location: Willard, OH

As a Bindery - Forklift Operator 2, you will :

• Train to operate a Forklift in the bindery department
• Push / Pull, lift stack or move in process products and finished products
• Maintain accurate inventory and report any discrepancies
• May load or unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids or lifting device.
• Perform safety checks on forklift
• Responsible for inventory control, tracking and reporting inventory utilizing a materials management system.

Qualifications:

• You w ill be trained - knowledge of bindery layout helpful
• Demonstrated willingness to work required daily & weekend overtime as needed in a 3-shift operation
• Job requires ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
