Job summary

Sheridan is hiring for a Manufacturing Associate – Finishing/Bindery on the daytime shift (7a–7p), a full-time role with training provided. No prior bindery experience required; we’ll train you to operate high-speed bindery equipment and contribute to a fast-paced, quality-focused team.

You’ll learn on-the-job, handle materials, and participate in safety-driven production processes with overtime opportunities and benefits after an initial period.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, workplace, safety rules, and manuals.
• Basic math skills for measurements.
• Mechanically inclined and able to use basic tools.
• Reliable, team-oriented with quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into machine.
• Pack books into cartons.
• Safely move materials to and from the workstation.
• Perform hand operations as required.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
