Sheridan is hiring a Manufacturing Associate – Finishing/Bindery on the Daytime Shift (7a–7p) Full-Time. We’ll train you to operate high-speed bindery equipment and handle books, signatures, and printed materials.

No bindery experience? No problem—we’ll train you and help you grow in a hands-on production role with overtime opportunities and a clear path to a long-term career in print manufacturing.

Qualifications

• No bindery experience? We’ll train you.
• Experience operating machinery in manufacturing, warehouse, trades, or similar.
• High school Diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, and maintenance instructions.
• Basic math skills, add/subtract, and ability to use a measuring device.
• Basic problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical inclination and comfort using basic tools.
• Read basic job instructions and measurements.
• Take pride in doing quality work.
• Show up reliably and work well with a team.

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into machine.
• Pack books into cartons.
• Safely move materials/books to and from workstation.
• Perform hand operations as required.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.
