Job summary

Thysse Printing Service, Inc. in Oregon, WI is seeking an Experienced Bindery or Die Cutting Operator who takes pride in running folders, cutters, booklet makers, die cutters and saddle stitchers, and who won't let a job leave the floor unless it's right.

2nd shift is Monday–Thursday, 3pm–1am with a 15% shift differential. You'll set up and operate equipment, hit production deadlines, catch problems early, own quality from start to finish, and assist with hand-finishing and training of new team

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bindery or die-cutting experience in the print industry.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Thysse is looking for an Experienced Bindery or Die Cutting Operator who takes pride in running folders, cutters, booklet makers, die cutters and saddle stitchers, and who won't let a job leave the floor unless it's right. Every project that leaves our building passes through bindery — it's where the final product comes together.

2nd shift: Monday – Thursday, 3pm – 1am

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate folders, cutters, booklet makers, die cutters and saddle stitchers with minimal supervision
• Hit production deadlines and quantity targets on a busy, varied schedule
• Catch problems early — read work orders closely and flag anything unclear before it becomes a bigger issue
• Take ownership of the quality of your work, start to finish
• Pitch in on hand-finishing projects and help guide trainees as needed
• Keep your equipment and workspace safe, clean, and in good working order

Requirements

What You Bring

• 2+ years of bindery or die-cutting experience in the print industry
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort troubleshooting equipment
• Good hand-eye coordination and ability to read/use measuring instruments
• A sharp eye for detail and a genuine commitment to quality
• Flexibility to work overtime or adjusted hours when the schedule calls for it
