Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Bindery Assistant Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience and be skilled in assisting with the setup and operation of various bindery equipment, including MBO 26- and 30-inch folders, Sabre/Prism cutters and Tecnau Roll in cut/stack and fold systems. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment are highly desirable for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the setup and operation of MBO 26- and 30-inch folders, Sabre/Prism cutters and Tecnau finishing line.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Meet deadlines and schedules consistently.

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • 8-hour shifts, day shift, 2nd shift, and 3rd shift
  • Five days a week – Monday-Friday
  • Overtime and weekends as needed

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Work Location

  • Hourly: $15 to $20 for 1st shift (based on experience)
  • Shift premium available for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
  • Immediate enrollment in health, vision, dental and life insurance upon hire.
