Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons in De Pere, Wisconsin, is seeking a dependable bindery team member for the third shift. You will load/unload materials, move items with dollies or electric equipment, label containers, and prepare bundles for shipping. The role includes pallet building, paperwork, and some floor duties in a climate-controlled environment.

The position offers a $3/hour shift premium and comprehensive benefits as part of a total compensation package.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for up to eight hours.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic use of shrink-wrap or strapping equipment, manual dollies, pallet jacks, tape fasteners.
• Ability to operate an inserter attached to a press.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Move materials using hand trucks, electric dollies, or other devices.
• Attach labels/tags and record information on containers.
• Bundle materials and prepare pallets for shipping; use banding machine and clincher.
• Build pallets, complete paperwork, and move pallets to shipping area; perform floor tasks as needed.

Job Description

The De Pere, Wisconsin RRD team is seeking a motivated and reliable team member to join the bindery crew.

• Load and unloads materials onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
• Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area, using hand truck, electric dolly, or other device
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers
• Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together, using banding machine and clincher. May occasionally use automated equipment and/or operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
• Builds pallets and applies all necessary paperwork to the pallet and moves pallet to a shipping staging area. Performs off line tasks as needed, (floorwork, cleaning trays, giving breaks, fixing packing errors)

This is a third shift position, eligible for a $3 per hour shift premium and in n a climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Should be able to stand up to eight hours.

• Basic skill in the use of shrink-wrap or strapping equipment, manual dollies, pallet jacks, tape fasteners, related equipment
• The ability to work on an inserter attached to the top or back of a press.

Thepay range for this role at the noted location is $15.00 to $17.34 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
