• Prior printing or bindery experience a plus, but training is provided.

Bindery Apprentice – Core Job Duties

• Assist in the setup and operation of bindery equipment including cutters, folders, stitchers, and related finishing devices
• Learn to read and follow job ticket instructions to ensure work is completed accurately to specifications
• Perform quality checks on finished materials to verify trim, fold, and stitch accuracy
• Support experienced bindery operators with make‑ready, adjustments, and changeovers
• Stack, bundle, and move printed materials through the bindery workflow
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bindery work area
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical or production issues and upgrade when necessary
• Work collaboratively with press, bindery, and shipping teams to meet production deadlines
• Willingness to work overtime as needed to support production schedules
