Job summary

Sheridan Group is hiring for a Machine Operator on 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM) in a full-time role with overtime opportunities. You’ll be trained to operate high-speed bindery equipment and contribute to a team-focused production environment.

We offer a $2,500 hiring bonus after 12 weeks, plus comprehensive benefits after 30 days and opportunities to grow within a stable print manufacturing company.

Qualifications

• No bindery experience required; training provided.
• Experience operating machinery in manufacturing or similar setting.
• Able to read basic measurements and job instructions.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, perfect binders).
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
• Hit daily production goals as part of a team.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.
