We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the Bin Delivery Driver position, joining our Central, PA team.
Drives straight truck vehicle to deliver and unload product for route salespeople at bin locations. When there are no deliveries to be made, the incumbent in this position will work in the Sales Branch Warehouse or completed related sales tasks for the Branch.
Load bin truck with requested product per bin location and/or other route specific needs.
Deliver products, mail, marketing and sales materials, and racks to various bin locations. This includes using a pallet jack, truck lift, and/or hand truck to unload product into the bin.
Rotate and organize all new products being loaded into the bin. Match and verify the load request. Report any discrepancies to Branch Warehouse Manager.
Remove and organize reusable cardboard from bin and return to branch warehouse. Cardboard that is reusable will be credited to the salesperson of each specific bin location. Remove trash from bin and return to branch warehouse for proper disposal.
Collect outgoing paperwork or mail from bin location and return to the branch clerk.
Deliver specific orders for routes at various locations, as directed.
Maintain a clean and organized truck. Sweep and wipe to clean truck interior; wash windows and mirrors; and dispose of trash boxes daily.
Professionally and safely operate step-van delivery trucks.
Conduct daily pre-trip vehicle safety inspection. This includes and is not limited to headlights, brake lights, turn signals, and fluids, including proper engine oil levels.
Attends and participates in all safety meetings and is committed to working safely including use of seat belt while in company vehicle.
Branch Warehouse duties:
Unloads trailers and stacks product in designated spaces in the warehouse.
Counts and records product and materials being unloaded from trailer to maintain an accurate inventory count.
Pulls Route Sales daily orders from stock and places the orders on pallets or track.
Collects and organizes reusable cardboard boxes from Route Salespeople.
Uses computer to enter records and to update spreadsheets as necessary.
Drive a straight truck vehicle to assist with out of stocks or deliveries.
