Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced VDC Engineer to join our team on a project-based, primarily remote basis. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, along with deep expertise in BIM/VDC processes, issue tracking, and data management. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead VDC workflows for modular and traditional construction projects
• Develop, coordinate, and manage mechanical and electrical system models
• Utilize Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Navisworks, and issue-tracking platforms to support quality control and project alignment
• Manage data workflows, dashboards, and reporting, including tools such as Power BI
• Track, manage, and resolve design and construction issues in collaboration with project teams
• Support the integration of modular design and construction practices where applicable

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in VDC / BIM-related roles
• Proven expertise in mechanical and electrical systems modeling
• Strong knowledge of ACC, Navisworks, Revit, Revizto, Procore, and issue-tracking platforms
• Experience with data management, issue coordination, and Power BI dashboards
• Modular construction experience is a strong plus
