Deterrence Defense, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a BIM / VDC Engineer to own the digital model for the installation of automated production equipment at a partner manufacturing site.

You will build and manage the federated model that ties equipment layouts, utilities, structure, and MEP together, and run clash detection and spatial coordination before anything is issued for installation. You will use reality capture to keep the model true to the site, hand over an accurate as-built to

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of hands-on BIM/VDC experience on industrial or high-tech facilities.
• Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks; experience with AutoCAD and IFC data interoperability.
• Experience with reality capture tools and point-cloud workflows.
• Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary models with external teams and vendors.
• Willingness to work on-site in the Dallas area and travel as required.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and manage large federated models across disciplines and teams.
• Integrate vendor models and establish modeling standards and data requirements.
• Run clash detection and spatial coordination to drive issue resolution.
• Perform reality capture to reconcile model with field conditions.
• Produce installation drawings and sequencing visuals for field teams.
• Integrate model data with project controls and turnover workflows.
• Deliver the as-built model and data package to operations at handover.
• Develop parametric content and automation to speed modeling.
• Evaluate BIM/VDC tooling for rapid equipment deployment.
