Job summary

Balfour Beatty US is seeking a BIM/VDC Engineer for Orlando, FL to lead BIM workflows and coordinate with design teams. You will develop proposals, models, and BIM execution plans while guiding project teams from pursuit through delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in design/construction, strong Revit/Navisworks skills, and a passion for advancing construction technology in a hands-on, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in design, construction, or consulting industry.
• Strong understanding of design/construction processes and project management systems.
• Desire to stay current with construction technology and workflows.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage priorities.
• Effective communication and presentation skills; ability to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Create required 2D & 3D proposal content to demonstrate technology capabilities.
• Develop building cores/shells, utilities and MEP in Revit/SketchUp for pursuits.
• Lead BIM implementation, create BIM Execution plans, and coordinate with teams.
• Manage project file sharing, clash detection, and model updates.
• Maintain As-built models and prepare coordination schedules.
• Capture reality data via laser scanning and drones as needed.
• Contribute to BIM/technology training and knowledge sharing.
• Support pursuits with BIM strategies and marketing content.
