Qualifications

• 2+ years in BIM/VDC drafting for a mechanical or plumbing contractor.
• Experience with fabrication-driven modeling.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate BIM models and shop drawings for mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Manage assigned modeling and drawing tasks independently.
• Support model coordination using Navisworks for clash detection.
• Provide dimensioned layouts and install-ready details to support field execution.
• Ensure drawing packages are complete prior to issue.

Skills

Strong working knowledge of Revit

Ability to read and interpret construction documents

Ability to produce buildable, install-ready drawings

Strong organization skills

Education

Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering

High school diploma or GED
