Job summary

Mi‑Tech in Wisconsin is seeking a BIM Technician II to develop and maintain 3D models and construction drawings that support project execution. You1ll work closely with engineers, project managers, and BIM leadership to ensure models are accurate, buildable, and aligned with design intent.

The role focuses on model production, detailing, and documentation, with opportunities to improve workflows and contribute to field-ready deliverables.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of BIM, VDC, or detailing experience.
• Proficient with Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam; Inventor preferred.
• Experience producing 3D BIM models and 2D construction drawings.
• Familiar with model-based workflows and drafting standards.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Detail-oriented with teamwork.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models using Revit.
• Produce detailed construction drawings and fabrication-ready docs.
• Incorporate markups and design revisions into models.
• Prepare models for coordination and clash detection.
• Ensure models align with project specs and standards.
• Support model setup, organization, and file management.
• Collaborate with engineers and BIM leadership to resolve issues.
• Extract quantities and dimensions for construction planning.
• Maintain BIM standards and naming conventions.
• Prepare as-built drawings based on field feedback.
• Participate in project meetings to align scope.
• Contribute to improving modeling workflows and efficiency.
