Job summary

Solutions Driven is seeking a BIM Technician to develop and maintain accurate 3D models and construction drawings that support project execution. The role focuses on modeling, detailing, and documentation in collaboration with engineers, project managers, and BIM leadership.

Based in the Wisconsin/U.S. market with a flexible location option, you will help ensure models are buildable, coordinated, and aligned with project requirements, bridging design intent and field reality while advancing

Qualifications

• 3+ years in BIM/VDC or detailing in construction or engineering.
• Proficient in Revit; exposure to Navisworks coordination workflows.
• Experience producing 3D models and 2D construction drawings.
• Familiarity with model-based workflows and drafting standards.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models using Revit.
• Produce detailed construction drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication-ready documentation.
• Incorporate markups, redlines, and design revisions into models and drawings.
• Assist in preparing models for coordination and clash detection processes
• Ensure all models and drawings align with project specifications, design intent, and company standards
• Support model setup, organization, and file management, including views, sheets, and version control
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and BIM leadership to resolve design details and drafting issues
• Extract quantities, dimensions, and layout information to support construction planning and field teams
• Maintain consistency with BIM standards, naming conventions, and modeling best practices
• Prepare and update as-built drawings and record models based on field feedback
• Participate in project meetings to stay aligned on scope, updates, and deliverables
• Contribute to improving modeling workflows, tools, and efficiency across projects.
