Job summary

Amazon AWS Infrastructure Services seeks a BIM Design Engineer to administer Autodesk Construction Cloud and BIM platforms across data center projects. You will develop automation, perform QA/QC, document BIM systems, and educate teams on BIM best practices.

Based in the U.S. with a focus on Seattle and Austin regions, the role collaborates with engineers, designers, and suppliers to deliver accurate, maintainable BIM data and processes for scalable data center design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.
• 2+ years using BIM API/SDKs; 3+ years in BIM/related roles; familiarity with BMS.

Responsibilities

• Administer BIM Common Data Environments (Forma/BIM 360) and other tech solutions.
• Design, develop, deploy, test, and maintain BIM solutions.
• Produce comprehensive BIM systems documentation and QA/QC.
• Educate and support primary design technology applications; train teams.
• Coordinate BIM data, metadata, and classifications with asset databases.
