Job summary

ACS, located in Verona, Wisconsin, seeks a BIM Specialist to deliver BIM services across architecture, engineering, and construction. You will build Revit families, maintain VDC/BIM standards, and train internal teams while coordinating with design professionals to ensure QA/QC on models.

You will develop 3D models, renderings, and schedules, and support field teams with as-built updates and new BIM uses that expand project scope. Travel for design meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or commensurate experience in CAD drafting or related field.
• 2+ years in Industrial Systems design at a consulting firm or similar.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks and BIM technologies.
• Proficiency in creating Revit content and optimizing workflows.
• Strong technical writing and oral communication skills.
• Ability to travel for site meetings with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Build Revit content (families) for in-house design and constructability modeling.
• Develop and maintain VDC/BIM standards and processes.
• Provide Revit application training for in-house teams.
• Develop and coordinate BIMs for preconstruction and construction.
• Collaborate with design professionals for QA/QC on BIMs.
• Develop quantity takeoffs and perform 3D scanning registrations.
• Improve schedules via visual scheduling with project managers.
• Create photorealistic renderings and walk-throughs from models.
• Update models to reflect as-built conditions and expand BIM scope.
• Master ACS software and test new tools; promote BIM processes.
