Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a BIM Professional to join our Engineering and Design division in Spokane, WA. The role requires translating ideas into coordinated drawings, managing Revit families and collaborating with project leaders.

Under supervision, you will provide 3D content in Revit, produce 2D/3D drawings and support project coordination with engineers and BIM team members. Strong knowledge of Revit, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD is required.

Qualifications

• 4 years of BIM or construction industry experience
• 1 year of 3D/BIM modeling experience or a four-year engineering degree equivalent
• Working knowledge of Revit, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD; Tekla and/or Advanced Steel preferred
• Strong understanding of construction documents and print reading
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide BIM documentation and support for Structural projects.
• Translate ideas into coordinated drawings and manage Revit families.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, PMs and BIM team to resolve modeling conflicts.
• Develop models and drawings per project standards.
• Assist in developing complex models and supporting project coordination efforts.
