Job summary

LJ Cross Plumbing seeks a Plumbing Detailer to prepare detailed drawings and 3D models that support efficient installation of plumbing systems. This role annotates Revit models, produces shop and spool drawings, and prepares digital layout files for field crews to begin layout with accuracy.

Collaborating with the BIM Design Manager and project teams, you will ensure clear, precise drawings and models that drive high-quality production and streamlined project execution on site in Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• Experience annotating Revit drawings with installation notes.
• Experience preparing shop and spool drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP plans.
• Familiarity with plumbing systems and construction drawings.
• Experience with CAD export and file management.

Responsibilities

• Annotate Revit drawings with pipe sizes, elevations, dimensions, slopes, and installation notes.
• Produce shop drawings and spool drawings for fabrication and installation of plumbing systems.
• Prepare digital layout files for field crews and assist with initial layout and control points.
• Export Revit models to CAD and manage CAD exports; align architectural, structural, and plumbing drawings.
• Coordinate with BIM staff and project managers to maintain model accuracy and constructability.
