Job summary

Insight Global seeks a BIM Modeler 3 to advance modeling for project delivery and standards. The role focuses on creating detailed Revit models, organizing drawings, and supporting document workflows within a production team.

The candidate will coordinate with field teams, handle laser scanning tasks, and apply advanced Revit functions while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and MS Office required.
• Strong understanding of 2D/3D modeling, layout, and multi-trade coordination.
• Experience with Revit work sets and work sharing is expected.
• Electrical background supports trade-specific modeling and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop Revit models from marked-up drawings per company standards.
• Set up views, manage drawings, and archive documents.
• Prepare drawing sets and support transmittals; manage file transfers.
• Coordinate 3D models across trades with field teams for layout and drawings.
• Support or lead laser scanning and model creation from scan data.
• Verify dimensions using tools like Total Station and assist fabrication layouts.
• Manage document transmission and assist printing/reproduction.
