The Role

As a BIM Modeler II, you will be responsible for creating accurate and efficient 3‑D models using Revit for both project delivery and standardization effort. Your work will support the production team by delivering modeling deliverables from assigned tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks required of a BIM Modeler I.
• Collaborate with the Lead Modeler/Supervisor to develop Revit Families for revised standards or specific project needs.
• Efficiently model and document project data.
• Enter field details into Revit per REI standards.
• Lead modeling efforts for assigned scope.
• Set up Revit views, view templates, and filters following Rosendin standards.
• Document progress of assigned work per project standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with REI Non‑Disclosure requirements.
• Other duties may be assigned based on this role’s responsibilities within the business unit.

Required Skills and Experience

• Self‑management and prioritization of multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Revit: creating and manipulating views, browser structure, sheets, schedules, filters, and similar.
• Ability to interpret 2‑D plans, including one‑lines, lighting schedules, panel schedules, and feeder schedules.
• Knowledge of industry standard software such as BlueBeam, Autodesk Cloud products, and NavisWorks.
• Experience importing documents (spreadsheets, photos, images, Word files) into Revit projects.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to translate verbal direction into design documents.
• Familiarity with Revit work‑sharing environments and 3‑D coordination with other trades.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
• Proactive, self‑motivated team player who interacts professionally with all levels of staff.

Qualifications

Working Conditions

• Primarily indoor environment with fluorescent lighting and air conditioning; noise level low to medium, occasionally louder on the jobsite.
• Typical duties include sitting, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, and bending; occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.

Pay Range

$33.75–$44.50 per hour. Compensation may vary based on location, experience, skills, and education.
