Job summary

Rosendin is seeking a BIM Modeler II in Anaheim to provide accurate modeling and deliverables for project delivery and standards. You will work with the Lead Modeler to develop Revit Families and efficiently model and document projects while adhering to REI standards.

The role requires strong knowledge of Revit, collaboration across trades, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure. Rosendin offers ESOP, 401k, bonus programs, and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong BIM modeling skills required for the BIM Modeler II role.
• Proficiency with Revit and related tools to create/modify models and drawings.
• Ability to read 2D plans and translate field data into construction documents.
• Experience with coordinating with multiple trades and maintaining project standards.
• Familiarity with REI BIM processes and confidentiality requirements.

YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

The BIM Modeler II is responsible for providing modeling efforts for both project delivery and standards. A member of the production team that is expected to provide accurate and efficient modeling and deliverables from assigned tasks with minimal supervision.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Capable of successfully performing all tasks of a BIM Modeler I


• Work with the Lead Modeler/Supervisor in developing Revit Families either for the revised standards or for a specific project's needs.


• Will need to efficiently model and document theproject.


• Perform layout and input from field details into Revit in accordance with REI Standards.


• Lead modeling efforts on assigned scope


• Setup of Revit views, view templates, and filters following Rosendin Standards.


• Document progress of assigned work following project standards


• Acknowledgement of any/all REI confidentiality and/or Non-Disclosure requirements pursuant to this position. The protection of Proprietary or Company Intellectual Property.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Effective self-management


• Knowledge of Revit, with the ability to create and manipulate views, browser structure, sheets, schedules, filters, and similar


• Give verbal and general written direction well and turn that direction into appropriate, constructable design documents


• Ability to follow REI BIM processes, procedures, and standards including workflow


• Ability to read2Dplans, electronically or hard copy, including one-lines, lighting schedules, panel schedules, and feeder schedules


• Knowledge of industry standard software, including but not limited to BlueBeam, Autodesk Cloud products, and NavisWorks.


• Able to import documents, such as spreadsheets, photos, images, and word processing files, into Revit projects


• Type, proofread, spell check work without supervision


• Understanding of working within Revit work sharing environments


• Understanding of 3D coordination with other trade


• Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)


• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary


• Work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude


• Strong, solutions-oriented oral and written communication skills


• Self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player


• Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:

• High school Diploma or equivalent required. An associate degree preferred in Computerized Drafting field


• Minimum 2 years' total experience with knowledge of electrical symbols and electrical drafting conventions and standards


• Can be a combination of education, training and relevant experience

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning


• Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.

Pay Range

$33.75-$44.50 Hourly
