Job summary

Rosendin in Coppell, TX is seeking a BIM Modeler II to support project delivery with accurate modeling and documentation in Revit. You will work with a Lead Modeler to develop families, set up views, and document progress following Rosendin standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (associate preferred) and 2+ years of drafting or BIM experience, with strong knowledge of Revit, BlueBeam, NavisWorks, and related Autodesk tools. Join a team that values ownership and collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent required. An associate degree preferred in Computerized Drafting field
• Minimum 2 years' total experience with knowledge of electrical symbols and electrical drafting conventions and standards
• Can be a combination of education, training and relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Capable of successfully performing all tasks of a BIM Modeler I
• Work with the Lead Modeler/Supervisor in developing Revit Families for revised standards or for a specific project's needs
• Efficiently model and document the project
• Perform layout and input from field details into Revit in accordance with REI Standards
• Lead modeling efforts on assigned scope
• Setup of Revit views, view templates, and filters following Rosendin Standards
• Document progress of assigned work following project standards
• Adhere to REI confidentiality and/or Non-Disclosure requirements
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

The BIM Modeler II is responsible for providing modeling efforts for both project delivery and standards. A member of the production team that is expected to provide accurate and efficient modeling and deliverables from assigned tasks with minimal supervision.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Effective self-management
• Knowledge of Revit, with the ability to create and manipulate views, browser structure, sheets, schedules, filters, and similar
• Give verbal and general written direction well and turn that direction into appropriate, constructable design documents
• Ability to follow REI BIM processes, procedures, and standards including workflow
• Ability to read2Dplans, electronically or hard copy, including one-lines, lighting schedules, panel schedules, and feeder schedules
• Knowledge of industry standard software, including but not limited to BlueBeam, Autodesk Cloud products, and NavisWorks.
• Able to import documents, such as spreadsheets, photos, images, and word processing files, into Revit projects
• Type, proofread, spell check work without supervision
• Understanding of working within Revit work sharing environments
• Understanding of 3D coordination with other trade
• Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
• Work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
• Strong, solutions-oriented oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player
• Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning
• Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.
