Job summary

Northland Concrete & Masonry is seeking a Project Engineer / BIM Modeler to translate drawings into accurate 2D/3D models that support estimating, coordination, scheduling, and field execution. You will work with Project Managers, Estimators, and field teams to resolve constructability issues and provide reliable model-based information.

Ideal candidates will have experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp, and a strong ability to read drawings and coordinate across trades.

Qualifications

• Experience with BIM/VDC and construction modeling.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, architectural plans, structural drawings, and specifications.
• Experience coordinating models across multiple trades.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies and constructability issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 2D and 3D BIM models for concrete and masonry scopes.
• Coordinate building geometry across architectural, structural, and specialty trades.
• Create field-use models and visuals for site teams and field execution.
• Support preconstruction and estimating with 3D models and quantity takeoffs.
• Assist with coordination meetings and RFIs with project teams.
• Manage documentation in PlanGrid and related systems.
