Job summary

Northland Concrete & Masonry seeks a BIM Modeler to translate construction drawings into accurate 2D/3D models supporting estimating, coordination, and field execution. You will work closely with project managers, estimators, and foremen to resolve constructability issues and maintain model integrity.

The ideal candidate has BIM/VDC experience, proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD/SketchUp, and strong attention to detail. Hybrid work arrangements available for this role in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• Experience with BIM/VDC and construction modeling.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Experience coordinating models across architecture, structural and trades.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 2D/3D BIM models for concrete and masonry scopes.
• Create project layouts using AutoCAD and 3D models with Revit/SketchUp.
• Translate drawings and specs into detailed models reflecting project scope.
• Coordinate with project teams to resolve constructability issues.
• Maintain model organization, version control, and documentation.
• Prepare visuals for coordination meetings and field use.
• Update models with design changes and RFIs as needed.
