Job summary

CSE Electric, LLC is seeking an Electrical Designer to develop BIM models and CAD drawings for electrical systems, including floor plans, lighting, power, equipment, and panel schedules. The role may involve 3D modeling for trade coordination and close collaboration with Estimating during preconstruction to produce drawings at multiple design stages.

The ideal candidate will work closely with project teams, incorporate field changes, RFIs, and coordination outcomes, and ensure CAD/BIM standards

Qualifications

Experience developing BIM models and CAD drawings for electrical systems.
Familiarity with floor plans, lighting, power, equipment layouts, and panel schedules.
Ability to update drawings based on field changes and RFIs.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain electrical BIM models and 2D CAD drawings (floor plans, lighting, power, equipment, one lines).
Create 3D models for coordination with other trades as needed.
Collaborate with Estimating during preconstruction to develop conceptual drawings (50%, 75%, 95%, 100%).
Provide accurate dimensions and routing information to support project planning.
Update drawings after field changes, design revisions, RFIs, and coordination meetings.
Prepare red line drawings from field teams and ensure CAD/BIM standards are followed.
