Job summary

Leapros Skilled Trades in Columbus, OH is seeking an Electrical BIM Modeler to join a rapidly growing contractor.

You will create detailed 3D models of electrical systems for large commercial, industrial, or hyperscale projects, translating engineering drawings, one-lines, and panel schedules into accurate spatial models.

You'll model devices and equipment to scale, maintain dimensions and clearances, and coordinate complex systems across major construction initiatives as the firm expands.

Qualifications

• Experience with Electrical BIM Modeling.
• Background with large commercial, industrial, or hyperscale projects.
• Experience translating engineering/design information into 3D models.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction documents.
• Data Center / Hyperscale experience is a major PLUS!

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D digital models of electrical systems for construction.
• Translate engineering drawings, one-lines, and panel schedules into accurate spatial models.
• Model electrical devices, fixtures, and equipment to scale.
• Maintain proper dimensions, clearances, and spatial relationships.
• Produce models that support real-world construction and installation.
• Support modeling for fiber, telecom, MV, power distribution, fire alarm, lighting, and branch power.
• Help coordinate complex electrical systems on large-scale construction projects.

If you have hands‑on experience creating 3D electrical models and want to work on large commercial, industrial, or hyperscale projects, this is an opportunity worth exploring.

• Experience with Electrical BIM Modeling.
