Job summary

busSTRUT is seeking a BIM Modeler in the Columbus, Ohio area to create, develop and manage Building Information Models supporting engineering and architectural projects. You will collaborate with architects, engineers and project teams to produce accurate construction drawings and detailed MEP models that meet project standards.

The ideal candidate has strong BIM software skills (Revit, AutoCAD) and a solid understanding of construction drawings.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in BIM tools and software.
• Strong understanding of Architecture and Construction Drawings.
• Experience with Mechanical and/or Electrical systems in construction.
• Skills in creating detailed models and managing construction documentation workflows.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with BIM modeling software, such as Revit, AutoCAD, or similar tools.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a BIM Modeler based in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area. The BIM Modeler will work on creating, developing, and managing Building Information Models to support engineering and architectural projects. Responsibilities include collaborating with architects, engineers, and project teams to produce accurate construction drawings, developing detailed mechanical and electrical models, and ensuring all models align with project requirements and standards.
