Job summary

MYCO Mechanical, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented VDC Mechanical Pipe Detailer to join our team in PA. You will develop highly detailed 3D piping models for commercial projects using BIM tools, focusing on coordination, prefabrication, and field installation.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and trade partners to ensure constructible pipe systems and accurate drawings, while supporting prefabrication and field layout efforts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of BIM modeling or VDC experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings (MEP, Structural, Architectural, Civil).
• Strong understanding of commercial hydronic systems and installation practices.

Responsibilities

• Model Mechanical Pipe systems with manufacturer content using Revit and BIM software.
• Create and maintain detailed 3D piping models per project specs and codes.
• Produce coordination drawings, installation drawings, and fabrication spool sheets.
• Identify and resolve clashes with MEP, structural, and architectural systems.
