BIM Manager (Plumbing/Mechanical) – $75,000 – Remote/EST Zone

The Role

Are you an experienced Mechanical/Plumbing BIM professional? Do you excel in Revit modeling, content creation, and project setup? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

We are seeking a Mechanical/Plumbing BIM Manager to join our team. With at least 5 years of industry experience, you will lead BIM projects, developing and managing BIM processes for mechanical and plumbing systems. Your responsibilities include creating, maintaining, and optimizing BIM models to ensure high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Create Mechanical HVAC, DWV, Mechanical Pipe, Plumbing, and/or Process Pipe models.
• Attend coordination meetings with clients.
• Collaborate with other disciplines.
• Generate RFIs for submission to the design team.
• Create detailed shop drawings for fabrication and installation, including export for robotic total station use.
• Communicate with field personnel to clarify fabrication and installation details.
• Mentor other BIM Coordinators in modeling, collaboration software, and drawing/document creation.
• Assist in completing drawings and models to meet project schedules.
• Support the creation of Revit families as needed.
• Provide input on hardware and software requirements to management.

• 5+ years of experience with 3D modeling of mechanical or plumbing systems.
• Minimum of 5 years using Autodesk Revit MEP and Navisworks.
• Strong skills in Bluebeam solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Solid understanding of construction principles.
• Assist Project Managers with estimation and scoping of new projects.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented and quality-driven.

• Ability to analyze problems, evaluate options, and recommend solutions.
