Job summary

JLRD, Inc. is a Florida-based MEP and fire protection consulting engineering firm with offices in Merritt Island and West Palm Beach.

The BIM Manager will own how models are developed, coordinated, and drawn, leading the production team to deliver coordinated, current, and constructible sets for multiple project types. The role is based on-site in Florida (West Palm Beach or Merritt Island) and requires strong Revit expertise, standards leadership, and a proactive approach to workflow

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Revit/BIM production on MEP and/or fire protection projects.
• 3+ years leading BIM for a firm or major projects: owning standards and supervising modelers/coordinators.
• Expert-level Revit MEP: templates, families, worksharing, linked models, and sheet production.
• Hands-on clash detection and coordination in Navisworks Manage, including coordination meetings.
• Working experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360.
• Experience writing and executing BIM Execution Plans and meeting owner BIM requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain BIM standards across offices and projects.
• Lead MEP/FP model coordination with architects, structural engineers, and contractors; run clash detection and track issues.
• Manage cloud collaboration in Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360; set permissions and publishing.
• Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans; train production staff to JLRD standards.
• Keep BIM status current on project schedules; communicate health, milestones, and gaps.
