Job summary

Thomas & Hutton seeks an experienced BIM Manager to support Structural, Civil, and Environmental Engineering with Revit and AutoCAD workflows. You will lead firm-wide BIM/CAD standards, templates, and libraries while coordinating large geospatial models across disciplines.

The role is the Revit-focused IT authority, collaborating with engineers, designers, clients, and external consultants to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality of project deliverables. A PE badge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) - Revit is preferred.
• 5+ years using Revit and AutoCAD (including Civil 3D) in engineering environments.
• Experience developing and enforcing BIM/CAD standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, implement, and maintain firm-wide Revit standards, templates, libraries, and workflows.
• Coordinate Revit standards with AutoCAD and Civil 3D to maintain consistency.
• Support BIM workflows and standards improvement in coordination with IT and engineering leadership.
• Coordinate imports/exports between structural analysis software and Revit models.
• Coordinate large and complex models with geospatial data.
• Assist with modeling/documentation of environmental systems (stormwater, water/wastewater, site infrastructure).
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training for staff.
