Job summary

LEMOINE, a Great Place to Work-certified company, seeks a VDC Coordinator in Baton Rouge, LA to drive BIM coordination with field teams and trade partners, develop BIM Execution Plans, and support project execution through Revit, Navisworks, laser scanning, and data analytics.

You will conduct coordination reviews, manage clash detections, model building systems, perform drone-based site documentation, and promote innovation across project teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate's degree is required.
• Experience as a mechanical designer focusing on building construction is preferred.
• Fundamental knowledge of Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Sprinkler Systems is required.
• Some experience with laser scanning equipment and use of point cloud data is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM with trade partners during early construction phases.
• Travel to job sites to meet trades and resolve multi-discipline conflicts.
• Evaluate clash detections using Navisworks and other tools.
• Set up and manage BIM Coordination Reviews.
• Develop and execute BIM Execution Plans with project teams.
• Review project specifications related to BIM requirements.
• Assist with model-based layout and drone photogrammetry analysis.
• Support field layout and quality control efforts with data analytics tools.
