Job summary

Arlington Resources in Roanoke, VA seeks a BIM Family Designer to develop Revit library models and maintain project standards. The role involves working with architectural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines and collaborating across departments to resolve design issues.

Candidates should have an Associate degree or CAD certificate and at least 1 year of Revit family creation experience. Hybrid or remote options are available for the right candidate, with on-site days also possible.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or certificate in computer aided design for AutoCAD/Revit or equivalent experience.
• 1 year minimum on the job experience with Revit Family creation or structural, mechanical, and electrical fields.
• Technical ability in the Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical fields.

Responsibilities

• Develop BIM models for the Revit library based on experience, sketches and verbal information from others.
• Ensure libraries and projects are maintained, meet standards, and provide the desired functionality in models.
• Assist in development and documentation of Revit library standards.
• Develop strong interdepartmental relationships and open communication lines to assure efficient problem resolution.
