Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Revit Library Designer to design, develop and modify Revit libraries used for shelter designs. You will gather feedback from structural, mechanical, and electrical designers to ensure models meet requirements and functionality.

The role entails building BIM models from sketches and vendor cut sheets, maintaining standards, and documenting BIM library standards. Travel may be required, and an Associates degree or CAD certificate plus 1 year Revit experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Associates degree or CAD certificate in AutoCAD/Revit or equivalent experience.
Minimum 1 year of experience with Revit family creation for structural, mechanical, and electrical fields.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of algebra and geometry; proficient with Windows, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, alter, and modify Revit libraries used to create shelter designs.
Obtain feedback from structural and electrical designers on library functionality.
Develop BIM models for the Revit library from sketches and vendor data.
Ensure libraries and projects meet standards and provide required functionality.
Develop and document Revit library standards.
Travel as needed; perform other duties as assigned.
